Food is a powerful healer! Nutrients, phytochemicals and other food components influence how the body function. Many components of food are beneficial and involved in restoring and enhancing health, as well as preventing disease. However, there are some food components that can contribute to health issues.

We often don’t know if it is present, but it is a risk factor that can trigger complex health issues, such as heart disease, which is an example of low grade inflammation.
